After you have submitted your application, a member of our team will call you to discuss your application further and answer any questions you may have.

Please note- we currently offer services in the North London area. If you live in another area such as South London or West London, you may be subjective to a mileage charge or we may not be able to facilitate you.

Screening process

Pre-interview online application

We will be scrutinizing hundreds of applications a month to ensure we find the most experienced, committed and dedicated candidate needed for the position.

Interview

All of our hand-selected candidates are then vetted through a telephone interview, followed by a face to face or skype interview. This way, we can assess the candidates attitude, passion, integrity and awareness with regards to the position they are applying for.

Identity checks

We will then check all forms of identity, including an enhanced DBS check for all babysitting and nanny positions, to ensure they are a suitable applicant for the position. There will be other thorough ID checks, some of which include obtaining a drivers licenses, passports and a visa.

Reference checks

We will obtain 2 references from employers within the last 5 years to ensure our applicants are trustworthy and reliable sources.

Parent and employee first meeting

At Busy Kiddies, we ensure that we have crossed out t’s and dotted the i’s, however, to give you that extra peace of mind we will give you both an opportunity to speak before you meet up, so you can ask any questions you may have or prepare each other for your first meeting. You can have the opportunity to video call, voice call, or email, this way, your child can feel more at ease as they have already met their caregiver.

Annual checks

After you have successfully placed your caregiver in his/her role, we will carefully check updates for our caregiver’s, including their DBS and first aid documents as well as other vital documents needed.

Other checks

We have a review system, which gives you the opportunity to give any feedback about the caregivers here at Busy Kiddies. This will help all other families just like you, to ensure they have only the best care for their children.
